Spring 2022 Recreational Soccer and Striker Soccer

Deadline for registration: Monday, February 1, 2022 at midnight
(late fee of $35 after this date)

SCUFC uses uniforms for a 2-year cycle.  This will be the 2nd of the 2-year cycle.
ALL PLAYERS who do not play with the SCUYMCA Recreational Soccer League for Fall 2020, Spring 2021, or Fall 2021 season MUST purchase a new uniform.

Coach Appreciation Discount:  Parents who volunteer to coach his/her child's recreational soccer team  and complete the 3 required items below by September 10 will receive a $25 refund  

3 required items for receiving coach discount:

  • CURRENT SCYS Background Check (click SCYS Background Check link to complete) - FREE - MUST BE COMPLETED EACH YEAR.
  • Completed SAFESPORT Training and received a certificate (click the link below and complete - FREE - MUST BE COMPLETED EVERY YEAR.

    Click the following link:  https://learning.ussoccer.com - takes about an hour to complete the first time.  Refresher coarse only takes about 15 mins to complete.

    Log in if you already have an account, if not create one making sure to complete all the questions and use coach if you are an administrator or manager.  Make sure you use the same email as what your club has you registered you used to complete the SCYS Background Check in Soccer Connect (Affinity).  A coach that has taken any of the Grassroots Courses should already have an account.

    4.      Click Start and proceed until the course is completed and the certificate is available.

  • Completed either the Introduction to Grassroots Training Course (dcc.ussoccer.com) or have a coach's license - FREE - MUST BE COMPLETED ONCE.

The registration fee includes a Medal for coaches to award each player at the season's end.

* If not enough players register to form an even number of teams, then the league will combine the divisions as follows based on number of players registered:

  • 4U/5U COED or U5U/6U COED

All teams will be guaranteed 8 games.  The schedule will normally include 9 play dates for divisions that have an even number of teams. Brackets with an odd number of games may be scheduled some games on Sunday afternoon between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm  If there is a rain-out weekend and the team has 9 games scheduled, the game will NOT be rescheduled.  If there is more than one rain-out weekend or the team was only initially scheduled for 9 games, the game(s) will be rescheduled for a Sunday afternoon.

Recreational Refund Policy:
All refund requests received in writing with a reason for not participating BEFORE February 8, will be refunded in Full.  All refund requests received between February 8 and  February 19 will be honored minus a $25 non-refundable admin fee.  Refund requests received on or after February 19, will be prorated.   ONLY the registration fees are refundable.  Any uniform, late fee or other fees paid are non-refundable.

No refund requests will be honored after the 3rd week of the season.
