*YMCA family members receive a $15 discount on league fees for U3-U12 Leagues

SCUFC YMCA uses uniforms for a 2-year cycle.  We are in the 2nd season of the 2-year cycle.  ALL NEW OR RETURNING PLAYERS who did not play with our club in the Fall 2020 season must purchase a uniform for the Spring 2021 season. Please remember to order the uniform kit when you register.

Coach Appreciation Discount:  Parents who volunteer to coach his/her child's recreational soccer team and complete the 3 required items below by February 6 will receive a $25 discount.  If you are a returning coach and have completed the 3 items, you will receive a discount code to use when registering, if you are a new coach or returning coach who has NOT completed the below items, please e-mail Tripp Miller once they have been completed and he will send you the discount code and/or refund your Credit Card the $25 discount once we have verified that the requirements have been met.

3 required items for receiving coach discount:

  • CURRENT SCYS Background Check (click SCYS Background Check link to complete) - FREE
  • Completed Sexual Abuse Prevention Awareness Training and received certificate (click the link and complete the Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and test) - FREE
    On the First Screen set up an account and under TYPE of TRAINING click the Sexual Abuse Awareness Training
    On the Second Screen Click the AWARE TRAINING and VIDEO/QUIZ (left hand side of the page)
  • Completed either the Introduction to Grassroots Training Course (dcc.ussoccer.com) or have a coach's license - FREE

The registration fee includes a free SCUFC/YMCA Car Magnet and a Medal for coaches to award each player at the season's end.

* If not enough players register to form an even number of teams, then the league will combine the divisions as follows based on number of players registered:

  • 4U/5U COED or U5U/6U COED
  • 7U/8U BOYS

Games:
All teams will be guaranteed 7 games.  The schedule will normally include 8 play dates for divisions that have an even number of teams.  If there is a rain-out weekend and the team has 8 games scheduled, the game will NOT be rescheduled.  If there is more than one rain-out weekend or the team was only initially scheduled for 7 games, the game(s) will be rescheduled for a Sunday afternoon.

Recreational Refund Policy:
All refund requests received in writing with a reason for not participating BEFORE February 8, will be refunded in Full.  All refund requests received between February 8 and  February 26 will be honored minus a $25 non-refundable admin fee.  Refund requests received on or after February 26, will be prorated.   ONLY the registration fees are refundable.  Any uniform, late fee or other fees paid are non-refundable.

No refund requests will be honored after the 3rd week of the season.

Refund requests must be e-mailed to Tripp Miller (scuymca@southcarolinaunitedfc.com).  Please copy the venue coordinator or YMCA Director for the venue that your son/daughter is registered to play on the e-mail.
