*YMCA family members receive a $15 discount on league fees for U3-U12 Leagues

ALL NEW OR RETURNING PLAYERS who did not play with our club in the Fall 2018 must purchase a uniform for 2018-19 season. Please remember to order the uniform kit when you register.

Coach Appreciation Discount:  Parents who volunteer to coach his/her child's recreational soccer team will receive a $25 discount once the SCYS Risk Management, Abuse Prevention Training, and Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Course have been completed.

Invite a Friend Discount:  If a player invites a friend who has never played with a SCUFC/YMCA league and the player registers and indicates on their registration that they were referred by a friend and the current player's name, then the current player who invited the friend will receive a $10 discount toward his/her registration for Fall 2019 league.  A maximum of 4 Invite a Friend Discounts ($40) per current player is allowed for Fall 2019.

The registration fee includes a free SCUFC/YMCA Car Magnet and a Medal for coaches to award each player at season's end. 

No team photographs will be provided by the league this season.

* If not enough players register to form an even number of teams, then the league will combine the divisions as follows based on number of players registered:

  • 4U/5U COED or U5U/6U COED
  • 7U/8U BOYS

Games:
All teams will be guaranteed 7 games.  The schedule will include 8 play dates.  Most teams will be scheduled 8 games, however, ONLY 7 games will be guaranteed.  If there is 1 rain-out weekend, these games will NOT be rescheduled.  If there is more than 1 rain-out weekend, the games will be rescheduled for a Sunday afternoon.

Recreational Refund Policy:
All refund requests received in writing with a reason for not participating BEFORE March 1 will be honored minus a $25 non-refundable admin fee.  Refund requests received on or after March 1 will be prorated.   ONLY the registration fees are refundable.  Any uniform, late fee or other fees paid are non-refundable.

The formula used to prorate the fees will be:
Refund = League Registration Fee-$25-((Registration Fee/7) x week of league play).

Examples”

  • 6U player (non-YMCA member) paying full price asks for a refund February 23rd (or earlier)
    • Refund = $79 - $25 - ((79/7)*0) = $45
  • 6U player (non-YMCA member) asks for a refund February 24th thru March 2nd.
    • Refund = $79 - $25 - (($79/7)*1) = $35
  • 6U player (non-YMCA member) asks for a refund March 3rd thru March 9th.
    • Refund = $79 - $25 - (($79/7)*2)) = $25

No refund requests will be honored after the 3rd week of the season.

Refund requests must be e-mailed to SCUFC/YMCA Registrar (registrar@southcarolinaunitedfc.com).  Please copy the venue coordinator or YMCA Director for the venue that your son/daughter is registered to play on the e-mail.
