Recreational Refund Policy

NEW SCUFC/YMCA RECREATIONAL REFUND POLICY (Spring 2018):

All refund requests received in writing with a reason for not participating BEFORE the first scheduled league game (February 24th) will be honored minus a $25 non-refundable admin fee.  Refund requests received on or after February 24th, will be prorated.   ONLY the registration fees are refundable.  Any uniform, late fee or other fees paid are non-refundable.

 

The formula used to prorate the fees will be

Refund = League Registration Fee-$25-((Registration Fee/7) x week of league play).

 

Examples

6U player (non-YMCA member) paying full price asks for a refund February 23rd (or earlier)

Refund = $79 - $25 - ((79/7)*0) = $54

6U player (non-YMCA member) asks for a refund February 24th thru March 2nd.

Refund = $79 - $25 - (($79/7)*1) = $42.71

6U player (non-YMCA member) asks for a refund March 3rd thru March 9th.

Refund = $79 - $25 - (($79/7)*2)) = $31.42

 

No refund requests will be honored after the 3rd week of the season.

 

Refund requests must be e-mailed to SCUFC/YMCA Registrar (registrar@southcarolinaunitedfc.com).  Please copy the venue coordinator or YMCA Director for the venue that your son/daughter is registered to play on the e-mail.
