Join your teammates and coach for the 2007-2008 season Kick-Off Day for Select and Academy teams.  The event will be held at the BB&T Soccer Complex in Ballentine, on Saturday, August 11, 2007. 

Each family with a child registered for a Columbia United FC Select or Academy soccer team is invited to come out to the complex to enjoy a series of morning intra-club scrimmages, to get to know your child’s coach, his teammates and their parents and, maybe best of all, to enjoy a free BBQ lunch as our way of saying "thank you" for making Columbia United FC such a huge success.

Gates will open at 9 am and everything should be wrapped up by 4 pm.  Each team will be scheduled for at least 2 scrimmages during the day.  Please visit our website ( www.columbiaunitedfc.com) for more details and the match schedule, which will be posted after August 1.

Also, SpiritWear will be available for sale so start making a list of all the items you need to show your spirit on the field this year.  We are also asking for donations of any gently used or new soccer clothing and equipment which will be donated to school children in the war-torn areas of Afghanistan and Iraq.  This effort is being coordinated by one of our soccer dads who is stationed overseas.
