98 Blue Girls were finalists at the Piggly Wiggly Shootout in Mt. Pleasant Congratulations to the 98 Blue Girls for a runner-up finish at the 2009 Piggly Wiggly Shootout in Mt. Pleasant on March 28th & 29th. Amidst staunch competition, the girls were able to play their way into the championship game undefeated where they faced their long-time rival from James Island. Although they came up short against the powerful Luna Chicks team, the girls battled and provided another strong showing for Columbia United!

Congratulations to the Columbia United 99 Boys White team for winning  the Piggly Wiggly Soccer tournament championship held in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina on March 28-29th. The boys played hard the entire weekend through the windy and wet weather to go 4-0 in the tournament. They competed against teams from Charlotte, Raleigh, Mt. Pleasant, and Savannah. They won 4-2, 1-0, 6-0, and 5-4. The championship game went to double overtime and was decided by 8 penalty kicks!!
